Sunday was Mr. Mami’s birthday. Since he travels a lot Buggy and I wanted to make some luggage tags for him with some personal photos. It was so easy to make and you don’t need a laminating machine.
* Self Sealing Laminating Pouches (with Loops)
* Photo Paper
* Personal Photos
* Glue stick
* Paper Hole Punch
This was a very last minute idea so what I did was go to Target and grabbed a package of the laminating sheets without the loops for about $2.00 for a package of 5. We had some extra luggage tags laying around from when I used to travel so I took the loops off of those and used them for my new tags. I then used a hole punch to make a hole for the loop. The self laminating sheets with loops can be ordered online through amazon. If you have a laminating machine you can pick up the sheets with the loops at Office Depot. I don’t have one and didn’t want to buy one just for this project.
For the photos, all I did was print out some of the photos that I wanted to use. I used glossy photo paper and inserted it into my printer. It was just a regular printer and not a photo printer. With the photo paper the picture came out just as great as using a photo printer. The size I chose to print was card size but you can cut them a bit shorter if you need to. On regular copy paper I printed Mr. Mami’s contact info and glued it to the back of the photo. Now all you have to do is slip the photo you just created into the self laminating sheet and apply some pressure-that’s it. Super easy.
Here is the end result.
Total cost is about $2.00 for the laminating sheets. Everything else I had at home. What do you think?

Wow, that's so clever! That's an excellent gift idea.
