How are you doing with your New Year’s resolution?
Did you know that January 10 is the day that people decide to quite on their resolutions? Do you know that about 92% of the people decide to call it quits?
Here are some tips that should help keep you going:
Take Baby steps: If fitness was on your list, schedule 2-3 days a week instead of committing seven days and work your way up
Choose one behavior to focus on and work on that.
Talk to your family and friends. Sharing your struggles and successes makes your journey a lot easier
Setbacks happen – Don’t beat yourself up if you slip up. If you want that piece of brownie you’ve been craving, then go for it. Get back up and keep going, that’s the important part. .
Ask for help! This can be one of the hardest things for us to do. I know for myself, I like accountability. Having a workout buddy cheering you on especially when you’re feeling iffy about it helps keep you on track.
Take it slow, these are certainly achievable! You’ve got this!! .
